Support for Immigrant Survivors
Your immigration status should not be a barrier for receiving services
Your immigration status should not be a barrier for receiving services, so rest assured that any information you wish to disclose to us will not be shared with others. We will not ask you for an ID or a social security number. Our services are 100% voluntary and 100% confidential. We’re here for you if you need us!
We know domestic and sexual violence intersect with other systems and impacts people in different ways. We adapt and change our services to meet the unique needs of victims, survivors, and underserved communities. Catalyst staff and volunteers receive training to better understand the dynamics and specific barriers faced by immigrant survivors. We are proud to welcome people who identify as bilingual and bicultural to our staff across all of our programs, including counselors, legal advocates, housing advocates, and prevention advocates. If we do not have a staff member available who speaks your primary language, we utilize a language line to make sure our services are accessible to all survivors.
