I want to donate my time to help people in my community affected by domestic violence.

Volunteer of the Month

Featured Volunteer of the Month: December 2021

Volunteer Start Date: June 2021

Time Served: 114 Hours

Juliette is currently in graduate school working towards a career in counseling. She volunteers at our shelter answering calls on the crisis line. She provides survivors a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space to process. She is compassionate and has a natural ability to connect with survivors and validate their experiences.

In addition to her work on the hotline, she is also involved in community outreach. She recently volunteered for Flowers on the Creek, an event to honor survivors that have passed away due to intimate partner violence. She has tabled at many events to help raise awareness about domestic violence and Catalyst services.

Fun Facts: Juliette appreciates all forms of art. She collects music records, art prints, and loves admiring tattoos (she even follows several tattoo artists on Instagram). Juliette also enjoys spending time outdoors. Bidwell Park is one of her favorite spots in town to de-stress and connect with nature.
